Woman rescues a large koi fish dumped in the woods and nurses her back to health, now fish demands pets and cuddles: ‘She is the most loving sweet fish!'

We see all kinds of animal rescue videos online, but this one is truly unique. Never have we seen someone provide such love and care for a fish. That's right, a big koi fish was dumped in the smallest little nature pond in an unkept wooded area. The pond was not even knee deep and totally polluted. Luckily, a local woman who was born and raised in the area has learned the most perfect skills for just this kind of rescue operation! She loves koi fishes. She has built her own ponds and cares for her own family of koi who absolutely love her. She has proven video after video that these fish are very affectionate and actually enjoy being touched and pet.

So when she heard about this dumped koi, she came running to the rescue. She caught the little guy and took him home. She quickly found out that this was no dude, this was a lady fish who quickly felt healthy and comfortable enough to drop her eggs in her new safe home.

"Oh, I feel so sad. Did someone leave you? Yeah. You're really sweet. Oh, darling, you sweet guy.
I rescued him. Someone had dumped him in this place [that] has been abandoned for such a long time. Like, it's gated up and you can see how overgrown it is. This is not maintained for, I'm gonna say, 10 years. And it's just been left.
I spoke to a few people when I see him the other day there, and they said, if I don't get that fish out, he's gonna d*e. So [he's in this] tiny little nature pond.And by that, I mean it was made for frogs. This is where I've grown up, so I've known these ponds since I was a kid. It comes not even, like, halfway up your shin. You just walk through it. It is for frogs. It's not even a pond, you know what I mean?
So I got him, and he is the most loving, sweet fish. I think someone has sadly passed away, and someone got the house, bought the house with the fish in, and they've dumped him. Because this fish, like, he's been loved so much. To be like this [affectionate] with me already. He's been shown so much love by someone. This is what break my heart. He's not interested about food or anything—he has eaten, but all he wants, whenever I go out there, he comes straight over to me. Just wants to rub against me and kiss my hands.
